Privacy
Privacy, without the weird surprises
We only collect the information we need to run RIPStuff, help people post their items, and keep the marketplace usable.
What we collect
When you create an account, post an item, upload photos, or send an offer, we collect the information connected to those actions. This can include your email address, profile details, post content, offer details, uploaded images, and basic usage logs.
How we use it
We use your information to run the product, authenticate your account, show your posts, deliver offers, and keep the site secure. We may also use limited operational data to debug issues and improve the experience.
Who handles the data
RIPStuff currently relies on third-party infrastructure providers, including Supabase for authentication, database, and storage, and Vercel for hosting and delivery. Those providers may process data on our behalf to keep the product running.
What is public
Anything you choose to post publicly, including item titles, stories, images, profile names, and listing details, can be visible to other users and visitors. Do not post private information you do not want attached to your account or listing.
Your choices
You can edit or remove information from your listings through your account tools when available. If you need help with an account or data request, contact us through the contact page and include the email associated with your account.
